I know from experience how much a little help can mean when things get tough. Friends and family have helped me through tough times over the years. That support was crucial for me and it gave me hope to keep going. I want to give back and help other people feel the same relief and encouragement I did through my Pinup Perspectives brand. People who need help can apply for this scholarship fund, no matter where they live. Everyone should have a chance to get back on their feet and follow their dreams.
You can use the money from this fund for a lot of different things, like paying your rent, medical bills, school, legal fees, everyday bills, gifts for kids during the holidays, food banks, and even giving money to charities. But it's not just about staying alive. I want to help people in the pinup and burlesque community live their best lives. This could mean going to events that change their lives, like Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly Weekend, Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekender, or Tiki Oasis, or buying clothes, props, and costumes to show who they are through fashion and art. We will look at each application on its own and try to give people a lot of help so they can take part in these activities and better themselves.
Everything to me is community. Life shouldn't just be about paying bills and getting by. It should also be about having fun, being creative, and helping each other.
