Featuring Illustrator & Tattoo Artist Kylie Goers
When I started building Pinup Perspectives back in 2020, I knew I wanted the brand to feel like its own little world—glamorous, expressive, nostalgic, playful, and full of personality.
I knew exactly the right person to ask, Kylie Goers.
From High School Friends to Creative Collaboration
Kylie and I actually went to high school together, and years later, during one of my many bursts of inspiration while creating Pinup Perspectives, I reached out to her with an idea:
I wanted illustrated pinup characters that represented different aesthetics, personalities, and forms of self-expression within modern vintage culture.
At the time, Kylie was transitioning into tattoo artistry in Ohio and developing a style that immediately stood out to me—classic yet modern, glamorous yet edgy, and full of emotion and individuality.
Now an artist at Lettie Grace Ink in Mentor, Ohio, Kylie continues creating incredible artwork through both tattooing and illustration.
Building the Visual Identity of Pinup Perspectives
Together, we created a growing collection of illustrated pinup-inspired characters for the brand—from glamorous showgirls and spooky pinups to nerdy girls, readers, rockabilly babes, shoppers, and more.
She also illustrated the official Lucy Von Light logo artwork that became such a defining part of the Pinup Perspectives identity.
Every character carries its own personality and energy while still feeling connected to the same world.
And honestly? Seeing these ideas come to life was surreal. It made everything feel real.

Why Representation Matters to Me
One thing that was important to me from the beginning was creating artwork that felt welcoming, inspirational, and expressive.
These illustrations are only a starting point, but the intention behind them was always to celebrate the diversity within pinup, glamour, and self-expression. I deeply admire all races, body types, aesthetics, identities, and genders that make vintage culture and alternative beauty so vibrant today.
There are still so many stories and styles I hope to represent in the future—but this collection was the beginning of that dream.
Thank You, Kylie ✨
Kylie helped transform late-night creative rambles and excited ideas into artwork that truly felt like Pinup Perspectives.
I’m endlessly grateful for her artistry, collaboration, and trust in helping me bring this vision to life.
Thank you for helping create the heart and visual spirit of this brand.
